The terms behind the promise.

These terms apply to the website at www.weblocksmith.com, the free website check, and any security, recovery, or infrastructure work you agree with Seven Eagles LLC, trading as WebLockSmith (“we”, “us”). By using the website or agreeing a scope with us, you accept them.

The free website check

The check reports public observations about a website at the moment it ran. It is not a security certification, a malware scan, a penetration test, or a promise that a site is or is not vulnerable.
You may only check websites you own or are authorised to check. Do not use the check to probe other people’s websites or to disrupt our service.
We may limit, queue, or refuse checks to protect the service and the websites being checked.
Reports are provided as they are, without warranty, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a report.

Paid work

Scope first. Paid work starts only after we have agreed in writing the issue, the scope, the success criteria, and the service fee, and you have approved them.
Fixed-price plans. If you buy a plan on our website, the plan’s description is the agreed scope and its price is the agreed fee, and paying for it is your approval. Each plan covers one website. If the work turns out bigger than the plan, we stop and tell you before doing more; you can switch to the right plan and pay the difference, or have your payment refunded in full. An emergency start means we begin work within 2 hours of payment.
Payment. Fees are paid through Stripe. We do not collect card details on this website. Invoices and timing are confirmed as part of your quote.
Guarantee. If we accept work and cannot deliver the agreed fix, we refund 100% of the service fee for that work, as set out on the guarantee page, which forms part of these terms.
Changes. Work outside the agreed scope, including new issues discovered along the way, needs a new agreed scope and fee before it starts.
Capacity. We take on a limited number of sites each week. Accepting an enquiry does not reserve a slot until the scope and fee are approved.

Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the authority to ask us to work on the website, server, or account concerned.
You keep backups and tell us about any constraints we should know of before work begins. We will ask before doing anything we consider risky to data or availability.
If access is needed, you provide it through the method we agree, with the minimum permissions required, and you revoke it when the work is done. Never send passwords, keys, or customer data by email.
You remain responsible for your website, its content, its compliance with laws that apply to you, and for keeping it updated after we hand over.

Limits of liability

We carry out agreed work with reasonable skill and care. Beyond the guarantee, and to the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the website, a report, or a piece of work is limited to the service fee you paid us for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost data not covered by the agreed scope, or losses caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

No security work can make a website immune to every future attack. A fix closes the exposure defined in the agreed scope; it is not a warranty against incidents that occur afterwards.

General

Content and marks. The text, design, and code of this website belong to Seven Eagles LLC. Platform names and logos shown on the site identify technology ecosystems and are not claims of partnership or endorsement.
Privacy. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms; the version in force when you agree a scope applies to that work.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Seven Eagles LLC is registered, and disputes are subject to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be excluded.
