Guarantee and refunds

We fix it. Or you pay nothing.

You are paying for a problem solved, not for hours spent. This page is the full version of that promise, so there are no surprises on either side.

Effective 26 October 2026.

The promise

Before any paid work begins, we agree in writing the issue we are addressing, the scope of the work, what success looks like, and the service fee. If we accept that work and cannot deliver the agreed fix, we refund 100% of the service fee for that work. No partial credit.

What it costs

Most jobs fall between $500 and $2,500. The price depends on what is wrong, how deep it goes, and how urgent it is. What you always get is one fixed price, in writing, before any work starts: no hourly meter, and no bill that grows as we go.

  • A straightforward security patch or update sits near the lower end.
  • Recovering a hacked site, or upgrading across major software versions, sits higher.
  • Emergencies, and work across several sites, cost more.

For a hacked site, where the full extent only shows once we are inside, we quote a price with a cap and confirm it within the first hour of access. If it turns out larger, we stop and agree a new price with you before going further.

If you bought a fixed-price plan on our website, its price is the fee and the same rule applies. Each plan covers one website. If the job turns out bigger than the plan you picked, we stop and tell you before doing more, and you choose: switch to the right plan and pay the difference, or get every cent back.

And every fee is covered by the promise above: if we accept the work and cannot deliver the agreed fix, you pay nothing.

What it covers

  • The service fee you paid Web Lock Smith Inc. for the specific scope we agreed.
  • Every kind of work we take on: security patching and recovery, application repair, and infrastructure work.
  • Situations where the fix turns out not to be possible on your setup after we have accepted the job. You still get the written findings, and you still get the fee back.

What it doesn’t cover

  • Hosting bills, software licences, third-party purchases, or other costs paid to anyone other than us.
  • Business losses, lost revenue, or other indirect costs, before or after the work.
  • Problems outside the agreed scope. A new issue, or an incident that happens later, needs its own agreed scope and fee.
  • Work we could not complete because agreed access, backups, or decisions were not provided. We will tell you promptly if that is holding the job up.
A security fix closes the exposure we agreed to close. It does not make a website immune to every future attack, and we never claim it does. Keeping software updated after we hand over is part of the plan we leave you with.

How to claim

  1. Email hi@weblocksmith.com with your website, the agreed scope, and what was not delivered.
  2. We confirm the scope we agreed and what we delivered against it.
  3. If the agreed fix was not delivered, we refund the service fee for that work to the original payment method through Stripe.

Quotes are approved before payment, payment is handled through Stripe after the work and fee are agreed, and no card details are collected on this website.

Only 20 slots a week.
